Welcome to our Catalogue.

The Clematis we send out are in 20cm pots (on the right) and are three years old. The little one on the left is in a 10cm pot and under a year old. There’s nothing wrong with the smaller size — it just needs a bit more TLC to grow strong.

Meet the family. On the right: our headline act — a 20cm-potted Clematis, three years in the making, grown up, filled out, and ready to rock your garden from day one. On the left: the baby of the bunch, a 10cm pot under a year old. Nothing wrong with the little one at all — she’s just got some growing up to do and a bit more TLC ahead of her.

Buying our big plants is a bit like choosing a fine red that’s had a few years in the cellar — you’re not just buying a plant, you’re buying time. Three years of feeding, training, and fussing over, so all the hard work is already done before it even reaches your garden.

That maturity comes at a price — our 20cm three-year-olds are a bit pricier than the one-year-old babies — but you’re getting toughness, resilience, and a plant that’s far more likely to take off the moment it hits the soil. And we’ve got plenty to choose from: 140 varieties available now, out of the 240-plus we currently grow.

If you’re the patient type and don’t mind nurturing a youngster along for a year or two, the smaller plants are a brilliant budget option — you’ll just need to source those from another supplier, as we only send out our mature three-year-olds.

Mail order closes 31st July 2026 — so if you’re building your Clematis dream team, now’s the time to make your picks.

Prefer to Pick Up? Just Book Ahead

Keen to skip the post and grab your plants in person? Easy — just make an appointment first.

Important: we’re not a walk-in nursery. For everyone’s safety (and Judy’s sanity), visits are by appointment only. Thursdays and Fridays, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., are the sweet spot, but if that doesn’t suit, just ask — we can usually work something out.

To book, email Judy at info@ahn.com.au or call 03-5998-1645 (and leave a message if she’s off wrangling plants). Come with a rough idea of what you’re after so Judy can make sure it’ll thrive in your spot. We’ve poured a huge amount of care into growing some of the best Clematis in Australia — let’s make sure you go home with the perfect match.
